Repair History
My father owned a bike shop before I was born in 1962 and he maintained and repaired all the bikes we had in our family of 5 kids. He taught me the basics, and I still own the first bike I bought with my own money, which I’ve overhauled several times. That early experience sparked a lifelong love of cycling and led me naturally to bicycle repair.
While at university and later working as an adventure guide, I worked at two Calgary bike shops and taught bicycle maintenance courses for more than 10 years. Today, I live simply on Mayne Island, repairing bikes on my front deck as needed to keep locals and tourists on the road.

Rates*65.00 per hour for most work.
*15.00 flat tube repair *not including parts I strive to get your bike back to you a fast as possible, typically within 1 to 2 days, depending on the service required. |
Mobile ServiceIf you are stuck somewhere on Mayne Island with a broken chain or flat tire, I can come to you and can usually get you back on the road within 30 mins.
