Host a Meal and a Workshop

Having trouble packing everything into your tight schedule, Nomadic Routes can help.  Our workshops are your opportunity to relax and learn in the comfort of your home or work place. Together with friends, family or co-workers enjoy sumptuous food and learn from our years of experience. We will cater the meal to your request and bring the tools needed to encourage your learning. You will discover simple and practical tips and tricks to make the out-of-doors more enjoyable and safer.

Basic Bicycle Maintenance

A Tasty Adventure

In the worst of weather on the hardest journey, food can play a critical role in the success of an epic adventure. When life is good and the tour is as good as you imagined, food again will make the difference between outstanding and OK. This 1-day workshop will teach you how to turn almost any recipe it into a lightweight backcountry gourmet experience. You will learn methods and tricks to food drying and packaging food for expeditions. Samples are provided.

Join us for this two-evening workshop that will get you into the backcountry with the gear that works best for your needs

Map and Compass Navigation

Despite the technological advances of personal GPS units you will at some point need to use a map and compass, if you plan to spend any time off trail in mountain or forest environments. Your wilderness travel confidence will soar with this hands-on workshop. The skills you will gain can easily be applied to any land region in the world.
